It’s important to look and feel good no matter what you are doing, exercise included. Time and time again however I’am sure we find ourselves showing up at the gym or heading out for a run in gear that looks a little worn out and dated to say the least. Thankfully French brand Satisfy exists. A beautiful blend of luxury fashion and function that has taken what you wear when exercising to a whole new level.
Founded in 2015 by Brice Partouche, this Parisian brand produces some of the coolest run and post – run gear available. Their headquarters consist of a creative team inspired by technology, design and music and how it all intertwines with running. Definitely sources of inspiration you can see coming through the clothes. Take the Run West collection for example. This draws upon the Counterculture Movement of the 60’s and 70’s, from events such as Woodstock and places like Marfa. Willie Nelson is even the star figure of this years Icon Capsule Collection. One which also brings in “acid” style tye dye items.
Willie Moth Eaten Tee £105
It should be noted that Satisfy is not just all about style. Indeed they produce some seriously smart, functional pieces of kit. The Justice collection is created in collaboration with a French silk-maker and is inspired by advanced medical bandage technology. The result is a fabric which is 35% lighter and importantly dries 65% quicker than regular running gear. Perfect for when you have a sweat on. In addition you have shorts with flat seams and no sew bonded hems to eliminate chafing along with an S-biner hook to hold your keys and prevent them jingling about. Superbe.
Justice Trail Long Distance 10″ Shorts £244
What I really like about Satisfy is their equally cool post-run pieces, stuff I would actually happily pair up with a pair of jeans. You can also see Brice Partouche’s skater roots emerge here also. I love the Cult Moth Eaten Sweatshirt in black. It features reflective “Running Cult Member” print and moth holes specifically mapped to create vented cooling zones. Perfect for chilling in after all that hard work.
